Yeah. I agree that some pieces are easier to read, but I really miss the part of the old highlighting where the following would occur - made it very easy to check smaller changes quickly: -somethin somethin' something +something something something and the extra "g" and replacing "'" with "g" would be highlighted a little darker, so that I could see that only those two characters were new. Obviously this isn't helpful for substantive changes, but for keyword changes, documentation fixes, and other smaller fixes this was really valuable so that one didn't essentially have to proofread/copy edit AND review at the same time. If cgit has an option for that it would be awesome.
