I just tried creating a new ticket on trac and got an error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was
unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform
them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

(Just so I don't lose it, here is the text of the ticket that I was
trying to create: In matplotlib, you can specify text "bbox" attributes
to control the rectangle in the background of some text. You can do
this to put the text on a white background, say, even if that text is on
top of some other drawing. This would help read edge labels in graphs
much better, for example. We just need to wrap the "bbox" argument for
text objects:
