Sweet.

You know, I've thought for a long time that we should have a list of
"official Sage workshop leaders" or something of people who would be
willing to fly/drive out at cost (say mileage + meals) to give workshops of
this type. The PREP workshops were great, but most of us have moved on to
other things, and it's not realistic for us to have a stable of people to
do these like Maple or even Geogebra do unless we have enough requests to
actually *hire* someone, which I think would make doing this more expensive
(though it's also worth considering what a reasonable price would be).

I do this as often as I can all over New England, but the reality is that
we don't actually know about many of the people who want this, or *would*
want it if only they knew and instead stick with what they have or do not
use computation at this level. It would be nice to have a map of where
such people were located (in the US, for example, though worldwide would be
great too), for a start.

One hindrance; it would be hard to have an arbitrary line of who is "able"
to do them, but presumably one would not want to just allow anyone to sign
up to do such workshops that came in off the electronic street. I don't
know how to resolve this, as by its nature this is a highly decentralized
effort and we don't want to impose a more linear structure, other than BDFL
-> everyone else.

Thoughts?
