Yes, I compiled it on the Pandora itself. Compilation itself took about
3-4 days (some of that would be restarts of the same spkg compilation),
but there were some hiccups every now and then (after all it is not a
supported platform, being ARM and a rather minimal GNU/Linux distro), so
the entire process took me about a week or so.

The ARM works quite well with the following caveats:
1. the libc has bugs which make gamma-function related tests fail (that must be two or three of them, can't remember) ; 2. some of the quadratic forms code are too memory-hungry, and swapping makes the box slow, which leads to timeouts.
