You heard about this awhile ago, but it is finally happening -- we will be moving over to a trac installation in a dedicated VM this upcoming Wednesday evening PST. This will require a few hours of downtime to sync the database over to the new machine.
Changes to be aware of: 1) trac notifications will now be from t...@sagemath.org instead of from wst...@math.washington.edu 1a) subjects will be prefixed with [sage-trac] instead of [Sage] 2) trac has been updated to 1.1.2dev + some modifications I've made to better handle large git projects 2a) the current mercurial workflow should be unaffected (other than there is a new unused field) 2b) the git workflow will also work on the new trac, although right now you will have to do it manually, without the assistent of the development scripts 3) the database has a few million garbage users, which caused some parts of trac to be basically unusable (the users admin panel comes to mind); these will be removed 4) the configuration has been rewritten from scratch, as the current configuration was based on an incredibly old base configuration 4a) this means I may have missed a few things, so please let me know if there is anything missing or odd after the switch -- Andrew -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "sage-devel" group.
