Googled the thing, found I had to "link with pthread lib, using
|-lpthread| option", compiled it, run it: "All ok!"
'man sem_open' would probably have been quicker... ;-)
Did you run that as root, or as the user you're building Sage with?
(And did you rebuild the Python spkg after creating the symlink?)
