Jan Groenewald wote:
Hi
On Ubuntu 12.04.2 with sage 5.7 from the PPA, I get this:
0 jan@muizenberg:~$/usr/lib/sagemath/local/bin/Singular
/usr/lib/sagemath/local/bin/Singular: error while loading shared
libraries: libntl.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory
0 jan@muizenberg:~$locate libntl.so
/usr/lib/sagemath/local/lib/libntl.so
/usr/lib/sagemath/local/lib/libntl.so.0
/usr/lib/sagemath/local/lib/libntl.so.0.1.0
0 jan@muizenberg:~$
Any ideas?
This is not a supported operation, use 'sage --singular' (or start a
Sage subshell and run Singular from that).
[None of the scripts/programs in $SAGE_LOCAL/bin/ is supposed to be
called directly, which especially means you shouldn't put that directory
in your PATH.]
