Hi,
it compiles well, except for conversion.c in libm4rie, which does
compile, but needs too much ram.
It passes all but three doctests (the gamma-related ones...).
I made a bdist available in the bdist/ directory of my home directory on
sage.math.washington.edu.
It's a little early but still: happy new year!
