Hi Johannes, If gap_packages managed to install with sage -f, then you can complete the sagemath-optional installation with
dpkg-reconfigure sagemath-optional Until you do this your package manager will stay in a broken state. When you run dpkg -l sagemath-optional, it should also say "ii" next to it, once you are finished.
