I am using Ubuntu and I tried to build Sage 5.2 from source. I have
already successfully built other versions of Sage, up to some
development versions of Sage 5.0. However, Sage 5.2 fails to build.
Below is what I think is the relevant part of the log files:

Please email sage-devel (http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel)
explaining the problem and including the relevant part of the log file
/home/itaibn/sage/sage-5.2/spkg/logs/sagenb-0.9.1.log
Describe your computer, operating system, etc.
If you want to try to fix the problem yourself, *don't* just cd to
/home/itaibn/sage/sage-5.2/spkg/build/sagenb-0.9.1 and type 'make' or
whatever is appropriate.
Instead, the following commands setup all environment variables
correctly and load a subshell for you to debug the error:
(cd '/home/itaibn/sage/sage-5.2/spkg/build/sagenb-0.9.1' &&
'/home/itaibn/sage/sage-5.2/sage' -sh)
When you are done debugging, you can type "exit" to leave the subshell.
