For me too.
I originally had trouble with the binary
sage-5.0-OSX-64bit-10.6-x86_64-Darwin-app.dmg on my 10.6.8 core duo 2
macbook; today, sage-5.0.1.rc0-OSX-64bit-10.6-x86_64-Darwin.dmg seems
to work. None of the cases which originally crashed fail.
