The same happened to me when I was subscribed to the list. It
confused me for a while as well.
I was invited to the list, and apparently I was invited to the "no
email" option because I haven't seen any emails from it either. I'm not
even sure how to change my setting since my email address is not a
google email.
Can someone change my email options to deliver email?
