well, the "fix" was some kind of goofing around with timestamps of files
and what not...
It does not seem to work with maxima 5.26 spkg I am trying to put
together at #10682.
(Which I made by replacing the old src/ subdir of the spkg with the new
one)

Is Sage using these info files generated by makeinfo from Maxima docs?
