I've started to write a GSOC 2012 application on the day we got rejected in 2011. Whoever wants to help, i'll add you to the google docs document. I'm fine with any contributions or even submitting this as the "notebook" and not sage itself. I also got some feedback from the last submissions directly from the people who were evaluating it (in a irc session). So, I can give you additional feedback on what to change and what do not change. I think, this year our chances are higher than last year, because last year they focused on smaller projects and it might be logically to focus on bigger ones this time.
