I had looked at coLinux before settling on VirtualBox. Since coLinux also needs a low-level driver I don't see any compelling advantage for our use. It is harder to install than VirtualBox and you can't run X on top of it right now. VirtualBox will be slightly slower in the execution, but its less error prone imho.
