According to some docs on the Geogebra site, they are really trying to modularize it, so that (in principle) any CAS could be used inside of Geogebra as needed for mobile/sessile applications. One white paper I saw said that Maxima was one of the options, but that now they moved to this. >From mathpiper-dev, referring to *non*-mathematical problems with MathPiper, just so it's clear: In the mean time, GeoGebra 4.0 will be shipping soon and I am very uncomfortable with the idea of MathPiper being shipped with it. After uncovering these numerous flaws in MathPiper, I am even more convinced that MathPiper should be dropped from GeoGebra for now and that MPReduce should be used instead.
