To clarify, the column is called "Scripta Manet". It might be better to write a column for this about such publishing ventures in general, and CDF being bad, then giving *several* "good" examples - not all affiliated with Sage. Otherwise it's too much like an advertisement, not necessarily appropriate for a column in the Notices.
