Unfortunately, it won't obsolete the whole Symmetrica, but certainly one of the most used part. However a large part of Symmetrica is being rewriten in sage (Schubert polynomials, symmetric function basis changes). So probably at some point, we will realize that we don't use Symmetrica anymore.
