Yup. You may want to have a look at:

By the way I am also working on some infrastructure work for modules
over various types of objects. Don't hold your breath though: the new
algorithmic will be mostly for semigroup modules, and this is in
bigmess-nt.patch in the queue, and this name is fairly accurate :-)
