Hi,
I've tried to ask this on sage-support, with no luck. I'm trying sage-
devel, which makes sense since it is a bug report.
So this fails:
sage: G= QuaternionGroup()
sage: G.direct_product(G)
...
RuntimeError: (It might be necessary to install the database_gap
optional Sage package, if you haven't already.)
Gap produced error output
Syntax error: expression expected
$sage3:=;;
^
executing $sage3:=;;
Let me hasten to add that the database_gap package is installed
indeed. What's going on?
Any quick & dirty fix is appreciated, for I rather urgently need to
take the product of two groups :)
