I know a few people (myself included) were asked to write a book on Sage.
Anyway, someone by the name of Craig Finch has. The book should be available May
of this year.
https://www.packtpub.com/sage-beginners-guide/book
ISBN : 1849514461
ISBN 13 : 978-1-84951-446-0
It will be available on Amazon too, but as you can see, it is not yet
http://www.amazon.com/Sage-Beginners-Guide-Craig-Finch/dp/1849514461/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1301358027&sr=1-1
Clearly the author has done this to make some money, but I think it is really
good for Sage to get books published on it.
I for one much prefer a book I can hold in my hand than reading lots of stuff
off a computer screen, so I will often pay for books that I can get electronic
copies of for free. It also adds some credibility to Sage to get a peer reviewed
book published on it.
PacktLib donate a proportion of the sales on open-source projects to that
project. So the Sage project should benefit when the book on Sage is sold. I've
no idea what percentage Sage gets though.

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing in e-mail?
