I have in my head the idea to someday soon make "groups." work as a collection of groups, just as for "graphs." I didn't know about "posets." I think it would be best if the capitalized names were classes or categories as often as possible, and we used the lower case for these collections. We saw some confusion on another thread already about Permutation vs Permutations. The only advantage I could see to uppercase would be if every category *automatically* came with the infrastructure for collections. But it would be best if the collections were disjoint from methods on tab- completion, so maybe this is totally impractical. Short answer: lowercase seems to work, uppercase has the potential for confusion/conflicts. -- To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org
