As mentioned in this discussion[1] I've been working on implementing multi-partitions (sometimes referred to as multi-partite partitions) for sage.
I have an implementation full of various little hacks and not a lot of documentation that I used for a specific problem. Now, that is out of the way and I've started cleaning up the code to make it ready to submit to sage. I'm new to sage and following the advice given in the developer guide, before submitting a trac ticket, I'm asking here if multi-partitions are a desirable addition to sage. If so, I'll open an enhancement ticket on sage and probably submit a patch late next week some time. Cheers, Paul.
