Thanks for tracking that down for me.   Unfortunately, it doesn't give
me any clue at all as to how it is encrypted.  What it does is explain
how I could make an .mx file for distribution using Mathematica.

The mx format is probably itself yet another secret, and discussing
this further publicly could probably provide fodder for a DMCA
lawsuit, so we shouldn't talk about this more.
