The Sage Thematic Tutorials [1] immediately come to my mind; see this page [2] for a brief description of the purpose of the thematic tutorials. This is a collection of tutorials (primers are OK too) that showcases uses of Sage in diverse domains. A main advantage is that this collection is available from the Sage website; Harald and I can provide a prominent link from the home page to it if necessary. Another advantage is that the collection is also distributed with each Sage release, hence amenable to automatic doctesting. Anyone can also download the whole collection of thematic tutorials.
