earlier version of gcc.
It doesn't work for me:

simonk...@t2:~$ vim
-bash: vim: command not found

-bash: screen: command not found

It seems that bash is reading .bashrc and not .profile, as you have a .bashrc
file. I just appended
if [ `uname -n` = t2 ] ; then
. /usr/local/bin/t2-setup
fi
to the end of your .bashrc file, and it then sets your PATH correctly.
