IMHO, we really should have Arch images. Our README.txt claims to support Arch, so clearly it was at one point decided it was worth supporting. But it's no longer listed as a fully supported system, as we don't test on it. http://wiki.sagemath.org/SupportedPlatforms#Linux Based on the last 3 months data from distrowatch.com, Arch is the 7th most popular Linux distribution. So that is well worth supporting. Mandriva and Slackware are two other slightly less popular systems worth supporting.
