Clearly there is a need for documentation in Sphinx, but books are very useful too. They are many reasons a professionally bound book beats a PDF one can print out for free. The book "Practical Common Lisp" http://www.gigamonkeys.com/book/ is available as a free PDF, but I'd personally rather buy the book than print out 500 pages and try to bind it myself. I think Sage would gain a bit more creditability if there were books on it published from places like Springer or Wiley. Good luck to anyone that has written a book on Sage.
