Hello everybody, I'm looking for a suitable PhD candidate for a position at the Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
The topic is "Industrial Algebra" : Hopefully, there's somebody out there with the following skills: * Computer Algebra, in particular Gröbner methods * Experience with at least one Computer Algebra System (for instance Sage, Singular, Magma, PolyBoRi) * Software development (C, C++, nice to have Python) * (Applied) Algebraic Geometry * Commutative Algebra Nice to have would be some experience with in some of the following areas: digital systems, cryptoanalysis, model checking or formal verification.
