For the record, I tried the above calculation at least 250,000 times on two macs (running OSX 10.5 and 10.6) and on Ubuntu 9.10 with a i7 860 processor, had no errors. This was on Sage-4.5.2. I guess I'll try again with 4.5.3, maybe its related to the Pari upgrade.
