I know there are not tons of PPC users still on these lists, but I wanted to ask whether they had seen something weird when testing sage/ interfaces/maxima.py. Namely, there is a guaranteed timeout (even with SAGE_TIMEOUT=10000)! Previously I traced this to the functions which create the tab-completion list for maxima.[tab], and I have no reason to believe this isn't still the problem.
Georg, anyone with access to the Skynet PPC computer (varro?)... any ideas?
