This is the directory SAGE_ROOT/examples.    I think it should be
removed from Sage, since it isn't tested.

This is the directory SAGE_ROOT/data/extcode, which contains data and
also code for Sage that is written in other languages,
e.g., gp scripts, magma code, GAP scripts, data files like mwrank's
prime files, etc.
