right after Sage Days 23 (which is in Leiden):

Subject: EuroSciPy 2010 - registration opening and call for paper closing
To: i...@euroscipy.org

Dear scientific pythonistas,

 http://www.euroscipy.org/conference/euroscipy2010

You are in Bcc of this e-mail because you attended EuroSciPy before,
or because you created an account on the EuroSciPy.org website, or
because you contacted us about the conference.

The organisation team is pleased to announce that

**the registration system is now functionnal**

If you would like to attend EuroSciPy 2010, please log in to the site
(get your password e-mailed to you if you do not remember it) then
click on the box "Conference registration is now open!" in the left
column. Since the payment system is *not* functionnal (yet), you will
be asked in a week or two to log in and pay for your admission fees.

Please note that we have worked hard to make the fees as low as
possible to ensure that any student would be able to join us. The
two days of tutorials will cost 50 euros and the two days of
conference will cost 50 euros. That's a total of 100 euros for four
days of Python+Science and four lunches. Keep your money for your stay
in Paris and, if you need a cheap hotel, check out the list we put up
on the website under the title "practical information".

The organisation team would like to thank the sponsors

**Ecole Normale Supérieure - INRIA - Logilab - Enthough**

since they make it possible to hold that event in Paris at such a low
cost.

The organisation team regrets to announce that

**the call for paper is closing in a few days (May 16)**

If you would like to submit a paper at EuroSciPy 2010, please log in
to the site (see above) and click on the box "Abstract submission is
open!" in the left column. You will be asked to enter a title and a
talk description. Change the state of your abstract from draft to
submitted to make sure the organisation team has a look at it and gets
a chance to discuss it with you before it can be accepted and
scheduled.

The organisation team would like to ask you to participate

**please spread the word about EuroSciPy 2010**

tell your friends and colleagues, blog about it, tweet it, whatever
works! EuroSciPy stays a community conference and even if the
organisation team put some work into it, this event will not work
unless the community makes it work.

Feel free to contact us if you experience any problem with the website
(which is far from perfect) or other matters related to the conference.

We look forward to meeting you again in Paris on July 8-11.
