I upgraded a sage-4.4.rc0 to sage-4.4.1, and the versioning is not being updated. I did have a problem building maxima, and following William's suggestion to someone else I rebuilt ecl, which seemed to fix that problem.
Now the version command gives: sage: version() 'Sage Version 4.4.rc0, Release Date: 2010-04-23' even though if I do "sage -upgrade" it says everything is current. Is there a way to force the versioning to be updated?
