Hi David,
I have produced a source tarball that incorporates the patches and/or
spkg's at the following tickets:
* #7867
* #8391
* #8363
* #8374
* #8375
These patches and spkg's are applied on top of Sage 4.3.3. The build
is still going on these machines:
* sage.math
* bsd.math
* winxp1 (Cygwin on boxen.math)
* t2.math
* rosemary.math
I'll report the results later on the relevant tickets.
Hi Minh,
I listed the patches that needed review. You had yourself reviewed these two.
#8191 Addition of iconv, which is needed for R
#8285 Update R's spkg-install to work on Solaris
So I did not list them as patching needing review. But they are needed to build
Sage on Solaris. So the build on 't2' will fail. But thank you so much for
trying. Just to get those out of the way will help a lot.
I did not put on that list
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8371
which is a patch for pyprocessing as that is needed too.
I have not yet attacked a spkg to the pyprocessing ticket, as I was rather
hoping that the ticket to remove pyprocessing completely
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/6503
would get a positive review, then there would be no need for my patch. However,
that has seem to have stalled, so I'll copy my Solaris specific patch to ticket
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8371
If that lot were applied, along with
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/8391
(sqlite update to latest release)
then it doc tests should pass too.
