I think it's probably a bit of a late notice, but I ran across Sage, and I wanted invite the Sage development community to send a representative or two to speak at Flourish.
If anyone has any interest in speaking or presenting a topic, please let me know. You don't have to be local to Chicago, we can most likely accomodate your transportation needs. As you well know, the social, technical and economic advantages of open-source software are clear to the converted, and confusing to the uninitiated. I would like to invite you to inform, educate and inspire both at Flourish 2010. Flourish 2010 is Chicago’s fourth annual conference dedicated to open source, sponsored by the University of Illinois at Chicago Linux Users Group (UIC-LUG) and the University of Illinois at Chicago Association for Computing Machinery (UIC-ACM). I would like to invite you to speak at Flourish 2010 about the benefits of using using open source software. In past years, Flourish has hosted speakers from big names like Google, IBM, Sun and even Microsoft. More information about Flourish can be found at http://www.flourishconf.com/. Flourish 2010 will be held on March 19th and 20th of next year. We expect the conference attendance to be about 300 people.
