Hi, Somehow all the virtual machines were corrupted due to a surprising bug in VirtualBox. Fortunately, I made some sort of backup of them all about 1 week ago.
1. I've restored sagemath from this backup. Unfortunately, there are problems with some of the other virtual machines in the build farm. 2. I've rsync'ing the dynamic content on sagemath.org's wikis from a backup I made last night. Upshot: (1) the website stuff should work fine now, with very minimal loss; (2) the next sage release (4.3.1) may have very few binaries since our build farm isn't in great shape; (3) all public notebook servers except http://sagenb.org are down for the next few days. -- William -- William Stein Associate Professor of Mathematics University of Washington http://wstein.org
