Seriously though, the best combination of location, hours and wifi
I've found is Seattle's Best Coffee in Borders Books in the Westfield
San Francisco Centre. Open until 10 PM, with free wifi.
845 Market Street, between 4th and 5th. Big sign for Bloomingdales
out on the street, take the escalators up to the 4th floor, under the
big dome, to your right in back.

Let's plan to meet there at 7:30 or 8PM. I know many people have
dinner plans, so the idea is to go here after dinner and meet to
discuss Sage for a few hours.

Some people were interested in learning about setting up virtual servers. They may not be subscribed to sage-devel. Do you mind if I post a message to sage-support advertising this meeting, with the understanding that beginner questions are welcome too? Or should we try to set up another different meeting with a beginner focus?

I was talking with someone today who asked if we could have a workshop specifically devoted to helping Sage users transition to Sage developers. I thought that was an interesting idea. Of course, Sage Days usually do that for at least one or two people, but having a Sage Days with lots of people specifically at the stage of transition from user to developer, maybe with talks on mercurial, the basic layout of Sage code directories, how documentation works, etc., might be a nice thing to have.

Thanks,

Jason
