Hi, several times a month some people hesitate to compile sage in their linux box. I thought it might be helpful to write a script that does that. Attached is a first idea how this could look like. Has anybody else done something similar? If it is a good idea to provide something like that on the website, we should make a ticket and improve it. I've tested it on my ubuntu 9.10 where it does what it should. First non trivial thing to add is to distinguish between apt and rpm based machines ...
