Just to clarify, the option "-pR" is not enough, even disregarding the hard link issue. In fact, for solaris, using "-pR" means that also the symlinks are not handled properly! IOW, it's really necessary to use "-pRP" (both "p" and "P") --- this should work for any posix system (except for the hard link issue). > This is quite an old release of HP-UX.
