Fair enough, but the majority of my site's visitors arrive from a search engine, and most of those people are not necessarily familiar with Sage or even computer algebra systems. For that audience I need an introduction that segues into the main body of the article. It's easy enough to skip over the first page. That's why the article is broken up into pages, each of which can be evaluated separately. And the cost and closed nature of packages like Mathematica is a legitimate issue, one not necessarily obvious to a student. Without this history, it's not obvious why Sage exists or needs to exist. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel-unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
