I'm glad you like it! The water pipes are lagged, and there is heating in the garage (both storage heaters and a wall mounted fan heater), but my quad processor Sun Ultra 80 is just about the right amount of power to keep the temperature up. near the sink, so stopping it freezing. Perhaps this year I'll fire up the IBM server or the HP workstation instead. Or if things get really cold, perhaps both of them. > Perhaps you should tell Sun about that -- > they might replace it with a new one! I think my wife would go mad if I got any more machines! I recently had 3 machines wrecked by lightning. We took one in the dump the other day - she was very pleased to see that go!! I'm hoping she wont be too displeased when its replacement arrives. > Are you expecting a cold winter? Whereabouts do you live? --I'm in > Warwickshire. I'm in Essex. I'm not aware of any long-term predictions of the weather, but having some heating is a good idea. I think I better check the machines first though. One machine had some PCI slot covers missing once, so some mice decided to use it as a home with an inside toilet! After a lot of cleaning, I did manage to get the motherboard working. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ To post to this group, send an email to sage-devel@googlegroups.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to sage-devel-unsubscr...@googlegroups.com For more options, visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/sage-devel URL: http://www.sagemath.org -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
