Hi, concerning the libsingular/readline problem, I think that we "just" should have added the Singular spkg as a new dependency for the upgrade (because the Python extensions in the Sage library using it depend on the readline library, see "module_list.py").
Simply rebuilding the Singular spkg (and then after that rebuilding the Sage library) should do the job, could you test this? There's anyway a new version for the Singular spkg needed, so for Sage-4.1.2.final this might heal "by itself".
