OK, thanks! It's a mystery to me how people manage to do upgrade after upgrade without running into problems. So far, I have always ended up recompiling from source, earlier or later. Maybe the problems are caused by moving the sage install directory after upgrading. I don't know. Anyway, thanks for your help!
