For the record, this only influences people who render things using Tachyon(...). this bug doesn't affect, e.g., sage: sphere().show(viewer='tachyon') Perhaps many people who would ever use Tachyon for drawing 3d images use the viewer='tachyon' option to 3d images, and this isn't broken.
