Hi Lucio,

It's working great for me - the improvements make a big difference in
usability for the novice. I really like the way it starts up with a
very clean screen featuring the Sage logo. And the bigger terminal
window and fonts work much better on a high-resolution screen. Two
comments and a question:

1. At the screen mentioned above you need to know to right-click. Do
you think a small amount of text below the logo on the wallpaper
graphic (eg "Right-click for menu") would be helpful?

2. How about two Sage-related menu items: "Sage Command Line" and
"Sage Notebook"? I'd think the latter would be easy to add since its
just a -notebook switch on the command line? It would probably
bring up a terminal window to ask about passwords first, though. I
wonder if you can preload the disc with a default password setup so
attempts to use the notebook don't ask for it. Nothing is ever going
to be saved anyway since it is a LiveCD so I'd guess that right now
you'll be asked every time for a password. However, I think there may
be some rearrangement of the authentication procedures coming soon, so
maybe this should wait until then.

3. I get a very limited "task bar" from Fluxbox. No icons, just a
time and a left/right arrow to cycle through the available windows.
Is this the intended behavior?

I think this is certainly ready for wider use now. Thanks for all the
great work putting this together!

Rob
