So I am at a loss to understand the comments of William and a few others who replied that they preferred it over the MathDox editor http://www.mathdox.org/formulaeditor/ You can try for example inserting and editing formulas in a nested set of matrices, etc. One nice thing about it is that someone has already written code that is intended to map the output to various computer algebra systems. Surely adapting this for Sage would not be such a big deal.
