Well, two things I partially mentioned to Minh in IRC:

 * prime_pi() isn't new, byt 2000 times as fast for large n and way
more memory efficient - see also what William wrote about that at the
end of the 3.4.2.rc0 release thread

 * FLINT has worked on 64 bit OSX for a long time, spkg-check had a
bug that prevented the tests from running
