Well, if that is the case all bets are off. IIRC Singular prefers
ncurses over curses, but I would have to check.

I am sure it will come up again :(. I think this is a bug in
Singular's build system. If it looks for ncurses in /usr/local it
ought to adjsut LD_LIBRARY_PATH to pick it up.
