Sorry to scare you, and I'm glad my April 1 joke was so convincing?

It was also a commentary on Richard Fatemen's repeated suggestions
that we really should rewrite Sage in Lisp.   When I think seriously
about how much work that would be, it becomes clear that even if it
were a good idea (it isn't), it would not be feasible.
